 e-Register is the online registration system for the exams conducted by RRB Chennai.

 Railway Recruitment Board (RRB), Chennai is primarily responsible for recruiting the supervisory and other non-gazetted staff required for three divisions (Chennai, Madurai and Tiruchirapalli), the Head Quarters of Southern Railway and Integral Coach Factory, Chennai.

Before applying for employment notice JEN 02/2008, please go through the instructions by clicking on the "Instructions" button given  below. Then click on "Apply online" button to register your details for the post applied for.

 What you need before applying online:

 You first need a computer with a printer.

 Please have your Demand Draft / IPO for the appropriate amount [ Rs. 60/- for categories 1-25, category 51 and category 61; Rs. 40/- for category 32, category 52, category 62 and categories 71-89 ] ready in favour of  Assistant Secretary, RRB Chennai payable at  Chennai drawn on any nationalized bank with minimum validity of six months. The date of issue must not be prior to 12/07/2008 and later than 11/08/2008. SC/ST, Ex-Serviceman and physically handicapped candidates are exempted from exam fees.

 You have the option to upload your photograph in JPEG, JPG or GIF format. However, also have your passport size photograph ready to be pasted / sent along with the printed application form.

 Advantages of applying online:

 By registering through 'e-Register' your application details will reach RRB, Chennai instantly. You only have to send the printout along with enclosures to RRB, Chennai.

 If you provide your email id, an acknowledgement for the receipt of the application will also be sent to the given email id.

 You can view the status of your application by using your Online registration number.

 'e-Register'  will also prompt you if you omit any mandatory fields, thus ensuring that the chances of rejection of your application are less.
